Frequently Asked Questions

Update March 18, 2022. As a designated essential service, we never stopped offering in-house training and troubleshooting services, with masks, sanitization and as much distancing as reasonable. We will continue to take your health and safety as seriously as our own.

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions:

How much do you charge?
  • $60 Assessment Fee (for diagnosing an ailing computer at my location)
  • $120/hour for Mac service and repairs
  • $120/hour for on-site residential, one-on-one and corporate training (minimum 1 hour charge)

Where do you work?

We service primarily the central Parksville / Qualicum region but can cover North Qualicum, Port Alberni, Nanaimo, etc.  There may be a surcharge for extra distance travelled.

Do you provide group training sessions?

Dan is the President of the local Mac Users Group and speaks regularly at their meetings, and therefore is totally comfortable speaking in front of large groups. However, many new users would benefit from smaller, more concentrated training sessions with 3 or 4 of their best Apple friends.

  • Hi Dan,

I picked up quite a few useful things in class even without a laptop, and enjoyed the course. Do please let me know if you decide to offer an intermediate level follow up. Thanks,
